Our Story

Our story began Dec 20, 1997.

Andrew was rushed by ambulance to Texas Children's Hospital. This was not his first seizure, but it would be his worst.

Andrew had a virus that attacked his heart and caused the severe seizure. On Christmas Day in 1997, we did not know if Andrew would see another day.

Our story has a happy ending and we celebrated Christmas in mid-January when Andrew came home from the hospital. But while he was in the hospital, we learned just how hard it can be to have those worries during the most wonderful time of the year.

We are grateful to God and the many who prayed for our family during that time. So, every year we go to the PICU waiting room to bring food and offers of hope and prayer to the families who are waiting for their Christmas Miracle!

We call ourselves Andrew's Angels and we invite you to be an Angel this year.

Have you ever been a recipient of Andrew’s Angels donations? Tell us about it!
